We want you to shop with confidence. This policy sets out your statutory rights and how we handle returns for purchases made at tinylux.co.uk.
1) Summary
- UK/EU/EEA cooling‑off: You can cancel most online purchases within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. We refund the item price and our cheapest standard outbound delivery; you pay the return shipping(unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong item).
- No extra store window: We do not offer returns beyond the statutory 14‑day period for change‑of‑mind.
- Faulty or damaged items: UK law gives you a 30‑day short‑term right to reject faulty goods for a full refund. After 30 days (and within 6 months), you’re entitled to a repair or replacement; if that fails, a price reduction or refund.
2) Who this policy applies to
- United Kingdom consumers (UK law applies).
- EU/EEA consumers (we align with the EU Consumer Rights Directive).
- USA & other countries: Our store policy applies; local mandatory rights remain unaffected where applicable.
3) Your 14‑day right to cancel (UK/EU/EEA)
- You may cancel within 14 days of delivery. Tell us by email at [email protected] with your order number.
- You then have a further 14 days to send the item back.
- We will refund (a) the item price and (b) the cheapest standard outbound delivery we offered at checkout. If you selected a faster delivery option, the difference is not refundable.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs for change‑of‑mind cancellations, provided we informed you of this (we do here). Use a tracked service.
- We may deduct for loss in value if you handled the item more than necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
4) How to cancel within 14 days (UK/EU/EEA)
- Email [email protected] to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Do not ship any item until you receive the RMA and instructions.
- We’ll issue return instructions, an RMA number, and the returns warehouse address in Türkiye (Turkey). This is not the UK registered office.
- Pack securely with all original accessories/manuals.
- Ship back within 14 days of your cancellation notice and keep the tracking receipt.
- We process refunds within 14 days of receiving the goods or receiving evidence of return—whichever is earlier.
Important: Returns must go to the designated returns facility in Türkiye stated in your RMA. Returns sent without an RMA, to the registered office in London, or to any other address may be refused or returned to sender and are not considered received for refund timelines. We cannot accept in‑person returns at the registered office.
5) Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
- Within 30 days (UK): You have a short‑term right to reject faulty goods for a full refund, or you may choose a repair or replacement.
- After 30 days and within 6 months: We will repair or replace. If repair/replacement is impossible or fails, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund.
- Delivery damage/missing items: Report within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and product. We’ll arrange a solution and handle claims with the carrier (FedEx / UPS / DHL).
- We cover return shipping for faulty/incorrect items and for damage in transit.
6) Items we cannot accept for return once opened/used
For health/hygiene/safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of the following if opened or used (unless faulty):
- Personal‑care electronics (e.g., electric toothbrushes, shavers, trimmers, grooming heads).
- Kitchen/household appliances that have been used (contact us for fault support instead).
- Perishables/consumables, intimate/sanitary products.
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids/gases.
- Digital/downloadable products and gift cards.
If the seal is broken on hygiene‑related items, we cannot accept a change‑of‑mind return. Faulty items remain covered by your legal rights.
7) Refunds: method, timing & currency
- Refunds go to your original payment method via PayPal.
- We issue refunds within 14 days of receiving the goods back or proof of return (statutory cancellations), or promptly after inspection for faulty items.
- Processing times after we issue a refund depend on your bank/card/PayPal—typically 5–10 business days, sometimes longer for card issuers.
- Currency: Refunds are made in the same currency used at checkout (GBP/EUR/USD). Any exchange‑rate differences or bank/PayPal charges are handled by your payment provider.
8) Shipping returns (address & carriers)
- Returns are accepted only at the returns warehouse address in Türkiye (Turkey) provided with your RMA. Returns sent to the registered office (London) or any other address will be refused or returned to sender.
- Use a tracked service; for higher‑value items, consider insurance.
- Keep proof of postage and tracking; risk remains with you until we receive the goods.
- For change‑of‑mind returns, shipping costs are non‑refundable, except the refundable standard outbound delivery amount for statutory cancellations (see Section 3).
- We do not accept cash‑on‑delivery/receiver‑pays return shipments.
9) Non‑deliverable/Refused/Uncollected parcels
- If a parcel is returned to us due to refusal, incorrect address, or failure to collect/clear customs, we will refund the item price minus:
- actual outbound shipping (if not already refunded as part of a statutory cancellation),
- any return shipping/return‑to‑sender fees charged by the carrier, and
- any non‑recoverable duties/taxes and processing fees.
- If you still want the item, we can reship after collecting the additional shipping charges.
10) Warranties & support
Many products include a manufacturer warranty. We’ll help you use it where appropriate. Your statutory rightsunder UK/EU law apply regardless of any manufacturer warranty.
11) Exchanges
For speed, please place a new order and return the original according to this policy. If we approve a direct exchange for the same item, we’ll confirm by email.
